In Haus Seidl you live approx. 500 m south of the station square in a calm side street. A large parking lot is located directly in front of our house.
Due to our central location, the Stubnerkogel valley station with ski schools, ski rental and ski circuit to Bad Hofgastein, the cross-country ski trail, the natural ice skating rink, the Felsen Therme and a bus stop as well as various shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity.
Various restaurants with good cuisine, cafes and clubs cater for your physical well-being.
Bad Gastein offers everything your heart desires.
Arrival by Car
- Coming via Munich
Coming from the north (via Munich), take the A8 autobahn heading south. After crossing the border into Austria, continue on the A10 autobahn as far as the Pongau interchange (Bischofshofen). Now take the B311 highway to Lend. Here you will find the turn-off for Gastein Valley (B167). - Coming via Innsbruck about 2 hours:
Coming from the west (via Innsbruck), drive on the Inntal Autobahn (A12) in the direction of Wörgl. At the exit marked "Wörgl Ost", leave the autobahn and take highway B178 towards St. Johann in Tirol. From there, continue on highway B164 towards Fieberbrunn. When you come to Saalfelden, change to the B311. In Lend, make a right into Gastein Valley. - Coming from the south on the Tauern Autobahn
If you are arriving from the south (via Klagenfurt, Villach, Slovenia, Italy), take the Tauern Autobahn (A10) as far as Spittal an der Drau. Now you will continue on highways B100 and B106 as far as Obervellach. Here, the B105 will bring you to Mallnitz, where you will be able to take advantage of motorail service operated by Austrian Railways.
Arrival by Train
Euro, Intercity and Express trains stop at Bad Gastein station. We are happy to pick you up from the station on request.
Arrival by Plane
The nearest airports are Salzburg and Munich. If you are interested, we can arrange a transfer for you.
